WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Culinaria will present a socially distanced fun run on from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31 at the Shrine Auditorium
- Runners may participate at a location of their choosing on Halloween Day, and, additionally, on November 7
Culinaria, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote San Antonio as a wine and food destination, will present Hallowine, a socially distanced 5K fun run from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31.
Although masks are not required while running, there is a mask requirement for those not running at the event. Organizers will follow strict Covid-19 safety guidelines and are requesting that groups not exceed a total of ten participants.
Costumes are encouraged and dogs on leashes are welcome.
In light of the pandemic, the fun run offers a second option for runners to enjoy the event in a safe manner; runners may participate on a street of their choosing on October 31 or November 7.
Individuals will be able to pick up a race packet, via drive-through pick up, which will include a race bib, t-shirt, and a finisher medal.
Participants are encouraged to share their fun run costumes and their morning-run experience through the Active Experience app, Facebook, or Instagram.
