About Amanda:

Amanda Lorraine Lozano (She, her, hers) is a native San Antonian born and raised on the Westside of San Anto. Her life changed when she began working as a Journalist and later, as the Editor in Chief at La Prensa de San Antonio Newspaper.

Being out in the city and writing about the people and community she loved encouraged her to pursue a degree in the field. She graduated from Texas A&M University- San Antonio with a Bachelor’s in Communications. After a long hiatus from writing, she is returning to the fray.

She currently works at University Health System as a Community Outreach Coordinator for a HIV/AIDs resource program called Operation BRAVE. When she isn’t working, writing or playing mariachi she spends a lot of time with her beloved gray cats.
