  • The newest food truck park will have live music and offer a large selection of foods and cocktails.

El Camino, San Antonio’s latest food truck park, serves as the perfect downtown hotspot to enjoy a variety of foods and cocktails ranging from Mezcal to Korean vodka. Located at 1009 Avenue B, the park will open its selection to the public on Thursday, June 17 at 5 p.m.

“It has been my dream to open a craft cocktail bar in San Antonio that stands out and is unique,”  Ricky Ortiz, Owner of El Camino SA, said in a recent press release. “We hope to bring our community together and to ensure we provide an excellent guest experience for all.”

According to the food truck park’s Facebook event page, featured drinks for guests will include the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, r and Jungle Bird, and delicious food truck options such as Holy Smoke BBQ, Condessa Street Tacos, and Jeepney Street Eats.

Additionally, a part of the park will be able to host live music. Ortiz hopes to accompany the grand opening with music to match the eclectic vibe, as reported by the San Antonio Current

"The art was important to me because San Antonio is becoming more and more known for its street art and the style you'll see is a good representation of the Latino culture here," Ortiz told MySA.

The park is filled with a myriad of colors, all painted by artists Scotch Willington, Hailey Marmolejo and Roger Maximo. Guests will have the ability to take photos with the vibrant murals. Soft opening hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday for lunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and dinner from 4 p.m. - 2 a.m. and Sunday from 4-11 p.m.
