District 2’s Clean Up, Live Up, Crime Down program continued Tuesday at several locations near 3619 Foster Road. The mission of the initiative is to restore and protect community landscapes by “harnessing the power of the community to get involved in cleaning up in order to help sustain a healthy ecosystem and robust environments for District 2,” according to a press release.
“I am thrilled to continue the Clean Up, Live Up, Crime Down mission,” stated District 2 City Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan. “We can all do our part in helping the community. Each time you leave your front door, take an opportunity to clean up around the outside of your home. Eventually it will become a habit for a cleaner way of living.”
Andrews-Sullivan said she’s looking forward to working with local business owners and owners of areas that are “in need of cleaning to strive for a continued clean community,” she said.
To report trash, graffiti, or illegal dumping in your area, call 311 or visit sanantonio.gov.
