Summer in the Alamo City is no joke. While San Antonio is normally known for its friendly folk, exciting parties, and fun fiestas, when the oppressive summer heat rolls through town, many locals find it hard to stay positive and find themselves reminiscing of the mild Military City winters. However, every Wednesday night in July, under the glimmering lights of the classic Pearl Brewery signage and amongst the historical brick structures, a truly exuberant atmosphere emerges, providing the citizens of San Antonio with a much needed reprieve from the serious business of summer days.

Swaying to the sultry sounds of Cumbia music, partygoers enjoyed a variety of festive chilled drinks, shaved ice, and plentiful food offerings Wednesday night at the Historic Pearl while the DJ group SoundCream Airstream spun records from their trademark travel trailer. Shimmering under the setting summer sun, the DJs cranked out hit after Cumbia hit while revelers gyrated and twirled each other around the lush evening atmosphere.

NOTE: The party will keep going every Wednesday night until the end of July and it is a must-attend for any SA socialite!
